Thursday 19 - Iontas Theatre

  • JJ Clarke (Native of Castleblayney) exhibition of his photographs in the early 1900's considered to be the finest examples of early street photography
  • "Dr Jack" a play written by Theatre Artist in Residence, Monaghan man Declan Gorman and inspired by the life and photography of Dr Clarke

Friday 20 - Culture Night

  • "The Streets J J Clarke - 5.30pm to 8pm - Old photographs of Castleblayney will come to life at various locations around town including Barney's Green, York Street and the Gate Lodge, Lough Muckno
  • Culture Night Miscellany featuring local artists performing a mix of song, poetry and drama - Scout Hall, York Street from 8.30pm
  • Susan McCann - Iontas Theatre at 8pm
  • Dancing to Johnny Brady - Glencarn Hotel from 11pm
  • A step back in time... a night of music and song to celebrate the beginning of the musical journey of BIG TOM. 'From the first fall of snow to the Sunset years of life' - 9.30pm. The Monaghan Premiere of the documentary MAKING TOM followed by music with the Mone Family - Free entry

Saturday 21

  • Heritage & Musical Walking Tour leaving from the Gate House, Lough Muckno at 10.30am and 12.30pm
  • Paddy Cole celebration - Mindzenty Park - This family friendly event will commence at 3pm where families are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy some Jazz music. Paddy will unveil a commemorative wall mural - Everyone welcome!
  • Music with Tom McBride Jr and Band with special guests Paddy King, Cowboy Larry, Damian Davis, Eamon Toal & Mick Mulhern in Oram Community Centre, doors open 8pm. Music starts at 9.30pm - Tickets €15 - Tel. 042 9740118

Sunday 22

  • Breakfast morning from 10.30am - Oram Community Centre - Football blitz, Big Tom Memorial fishing competition, Vintage tractor run - Registration for Vintage Run from 12noon, departing Oram at 1.30pm to arrive at the BIG TOM statue in Castleblayney for 3pm
  • Live music - 3pm at the Big Tom Statue in Castleblayney town to commemorate the one year anniversary of the unveiling of the statue
